Production Begins on Heat Wave the Movie

The feature film based on Richard Castle’s bestseller, Heat Wave, is about to begin production in Los Angeles. Castle based this first novel in the Nikki Heat series on NYPD’s own Detective Kate Beckett. He has been following Detective Beckett for a couple years now and has drawn on their cases to write his two most recent bestsellers. With the success of Heat Wave,, the studios were clamoring for the movie rights. Spike Rosenberg adapted a feature script and casting began last fall.
